Frequently asked questions
Clear answers for retail traders — before you deploy capital.
Is Anadi Algo a tips service?
No. It's a platform to build and run rule-based strategies. No tips, no guaranteed returns. You define the rules — the system executes them.
Do I need coding knowledge?
No. Describe your strategy in Hindi or English using the Chat Wizard. AI generates the rules. You can also use the visual DSL Builder or edit JSON directly if you prefer.
Which brokers are supported?
Zerodha (Kite), Angel One, Upstox, Dhan, and Stoxkart. All connections use official broker APIs. Your money stays in your broker account.
Paper trading vs Live trading — what's the difference?
Paper trading simulates orders on real market data without risking capital. Live trading sends real orders to your broker. Always validate in paper first.
What markets are supported?
NSE and BSE — both equity (cash segment) and F&O (futures and options). Index options for NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY.
How does backtesting work?
3-step wizard: select strategy + instruments, set date range + parameters, review + launch. Runs on 5 years of NIFTY 500 historical candle data. Full trade log, equity curve, and metrics.
Do options hedge baskets support basket-level SL/TP?
Yes. Baskets can be managed using combined basket P&L thresholds. Individual legs can also be rolled, closed, or adjusted within the basket.
Is backtest performance equal to live performance?
No. Live trading includes slippage, liquidity, and broker behavior. Backtest validates rules; paper trading validates execution; live carries real risk.
Can I short stocks in positional trading?
Shorting depends on exchange/broker rules. Intraday shorting (MIS) is usually allowed. Positional shorting in cash equities may not be allowed by your broker.
Is my money safe?
Your money stays in your broker account. Anadi Algo never holds your funds. We only send orders via official broker APIs.
What is the kill switch?
Emergency button that instantly stops all running strategies and squares off all open positions. One click. Available on the dashboard.
What is the minimum capital required?
There's no minimum to use the platform — the Starter plan is free. Capital requirements depend on what you trade and your broker's margin rules.
Can I use TradingView alerts?
Yes. TradingView webhook integration lets you route external alerts to Anadi Algo for automated execution on any connected broker.
How many strategies can I run?
Starter: up to 5 instances. Professional: unlimited. Enterprise: custom limits.
